’The Best is Yet to Come’

$247.00

I painted this as Adam and Eve.
But maybe… it’s also us.

Two souls.
Worn, soft-edged, leaning into each other.
Not in shame — but open in tenderness.
In that sacred moment after the fall,
when the ache settles in,
and love is what’s left.

They are clothed in
the garment of at-one-ment —
a symbol of being aligned with
heaven even in mortality.

They’re leaning —
Into the storm,
Into each other,
Into God’s grace.

And maybe that’s what faith looks like.
Maybe hope is quieter than we think.
And maybe love is the most honest thing we do in the dark.

President Nelson said,
“The best is yet to come”
Because Christ is coming —
and He also comes now.
Into the aching, the ordinary, the mundane.
Into our surrender.
Into our need.

Artist’s Note

This painting is a prayer of faith, hope + love—
for all of us who are still becoming,
who are still walking east of Eden
with soft hearts and tired hands,
believing anyway.
